A wonderful experience from A to Z: the lovingly designed and carefully renovated rooms, halls, and corridors; the style of the furniture; the well-chosen artwork (a fitting painting above the bed, small drawings in the bathroom, copper engravings and old maps in the breakfast room); the piano music in the courtyard in the evening; the beautiful tiled stove that was heated just for us; the breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired; the large tree swing; the well-kept garden; the open rooms available for viewing (including a mini-museum with two complete suits of armor, a large press, forge, tools, etc.); the view; and the convenient location for various excursions.

Because of a wedding the next day, there were only a few guests, so we were allowed to explore the castle and the other rooms. All rooms are tastefully furnished, from country-house style to baroque. Bathrooms are quite new. Breakfast was plentiful, although there was no service staff — but we managed perfectly well on our own.

The entire castle is very cozy. Arrival was very pleasant, as we were well informed via WhatsApp about the key safe (our late arrival was perfectly organized). Very friendly welcome at breakfast… extensive buffet. The castle courtyard is a feast for the eyes and had background music — wonderful atmosphere! The high ceilings make the rooms very cozy.

A wonderful experience that we will definitely repeat! The location is unique — especially for this price. The castle is hidden in a small wooded area and invites you to dream. Many rooms, such as the large hall and other chambers, can be explored. Anyone who has always wanted to move almost freely through a castle and discover many things is absolutely in the right place here. The lady of the castle is personally on site, takes care of everything, and takes the time to talk to guests. Breakfast is simple and good.
